the reason it sounds better with a single pipe is because your running the sound of 6 cylinders in one pipe. two pipes are like running two, 3 cylinders next to eachother. love the sound.

I have a 1968 i6 200....I am putting on the same FlowMaster 40 Delta witha 2 1/4 inch pipe...single exhaust...Your car sounds GREAT!!! I can't wait to hear how my i6 200 sounds!!!!

@jdomingue honestly im not sure which 40 series it is. i didnt even know there were diff kinds of the 40s when it was put on. chances are its the delta 40 though. thank you! i appreciate it!
