@logosfails grime are beats at 140 bpm made from synth and/or string sounds, square bass, and drum pattern are like 2-step garage ones but with no swing, its basicly a darker more developed form of garage.

@AdzTurner you mean if i want music that requires a bit of true effort to make? im a producer, a beat like this would take me five minutes to make, theres no melodical talent in this one bro. however enjoyable it may be. and i know about rough raw tunes i listen to wu tang all day
yeah sublow is more bass orientated whereas grime is mainly driven by synths and more electronic sounds. Sublow has a lot more in common with its ancestor(garage) than grime does. grime also has a sparse texture which sublow does not.

Where would you draw the line between sublow and grime, in terms of musical characteristics? Would sublow still have more of the dancy garage vibe? In any case, the sound is fantastic: so raw and powerful. Thanks for spreading the knowledge, btw.
