And what about Israel's revolting terrorism against the Palestinians (which began over 60 years ago)? Also, Hamas is largely an Israeli creation which has backfired on them - Israel has only itself to blame.

I am Masri (Egyptian), and I am abhorred by the govt's actions. The govt however, doesn't AT ALL represent the people.

last time i checked rafah borders egypt not israel why dont the egyptgians let in humanitarian aid and supply them with electricity

and by the way their homemade rockets cause quite a bit of damage and during the six month truce they updated their rockets to imported katyusha's which have a 40km range instead of 20km

and one million people under rocket fire is not a joke

israel is not afraid of hamas destroying it

but that doesn't mean that israel has to put up with over 3000 rockets fired this year by hamas

in 1948 the arabs already rejected a two state solution they want everything the entire israel hamas states it openly in their charter their goal is to destroy israel

besides the fact that the land was rightfully won in a defensive war in 1967

as for checkpoints if their was no suicide bombings and terrorist attacks israel wouldn't need checkpoints

You cant confine 1.4 million people in an outside prison and expect them to just accept that. They fight back with rocks and homemade rockets and you whine like a little @#$# and play the victim when they do, its a friggin joke.

Analogies are not facts, and there is no reason why Israel the 4th most powerful military in the world should be afraid of Hamas "destroying" it.

If Israel wanted peace then they would go back to the 1967 borders, get rid of the wall, checkpoints, settlements (all are in violation of international law) give them east Jerusalem as there capital and stop OCCUPYING Palestinian land. That is the internationally accepted two state solution.

as to the numbers of dead its not tit for tat it goes by intention hamas wants solely to destroy israel its in their charter they dont want peace israel does'nt seek to destroy gaza we don't have to wait until they get the means to accomplish their goal if someone comes at you with a knife you don't have to wait until he stabs you during this past ceasefire alone they expanded the range of the rockets from 20km to 40km putting one million people in range do we have to wait for major casualties

you seem to forget that egypt occupied gaza for 30 years 1947-1967 and they've been offered time and time again that if they would stop terrorist attacks they could have a state but they havent stopped even during the 6 month truce they fired rockets they dont want to have a state and live peacefully with israel they want to see israel wiped off the map and it says that openly in their charter

Israel's actions say different,Israel has been a state for 60 years, Palestine has been denied Sovereignty for 60+ years(including British Rule after WW1)while living under a brutal and prolonged military OCUPATION.

Its hard to be sympathetic when looking at the numbers of dead Palestinians vs Israelis. If you hate Arabs so much,and just want to see them all dead that's your right live with that hate its certainly your choice just don't expect other people to share your bigoted views.
