Why did they have the seating arrangement different this time? On the first episode of the second week, they had the normal arrangement. Also, the music at the beginning was kinda messed up.

I don't understand the seat changing, but it is fun to see Richard in the Brett Somers seat and Charles Nelson Reilly seat during this week.

@tpirjunky its like Gene doesn't really know what to do with his hands... and it is odd seeing this seating arrangement .. but they were still trying things out at that point

@fwbh I think there was a seat change in 1975 or 76, when Alex Karras was on for a week. I guess the celebs were tired of sitting in the same seats, and thought "Why won't we change for one day?"

I love that reference that Mr.Dawson made about his "Captain Kangaroo"like suit jacket. I hope that Mr.Keeshan didn't hear though? (LOL!)

Yes, it is. But it just seemed a little confusing to me. But, it is slightly similar to the unaired pilot episode.

Gene just didn't look the same without his long (or short) microphone. Odd seeing RD in Brett's seat.
