@speraza53 The thing about that is..Had Cliff not died...And Justice For All would never had been written..While I'm sure what ever album would have come next after Puppets would have been a classic...Justice never would have happened. So much of that album was just totally inspired by his death. For as great as Cliff was, and he was GREAT. Who knows if Metallica would have ever been as big today had he not died..

@liv4heavy: Actually, Jason did get a say in Load and ReLoad along with Kirk. You see, their other 5 albums before Load and ReLoad were done mainly by James and Lars. By the time they were making Load and ReLoad, James and Lars decided to be a bit more relaxed and let Kirk and Jason contribute to Load and ReLoad. That's why those two albums sound different from their earlier stuff; it's because they weren't done by James and Lars entirely.

Almost. They did do it once more with Cliff at the New Years Eve show in Frisco. They also debuted Master of Puppets there.
Oh, to have been around in that time. Shame is, I didn't discover the band until 1990

Does anyone have the whole of this show uploaded? I've seen this, about half of Creeping Death and the stuff from Cliff em All on here quite a bit, but nothing else. I'd really love to hear it, as it was an awesome setlist, and the really kicked ass that night: Creeping Death Ride the Lightning Disposable Heroes No Remorse Bass Solo For Whom the Bell Tolls The Four Horsemen Fade to Black Seek & Destroy Whiplash Fight Fire With Fire Am I Evil? Motorbreath
-
Yes! supporting Venom
-
What makes you say that? It most certainly is 1985. Look at the Cliff 'Em All DVD. This song wasn't on there, but songs such as "Fade To Black", "Seek And Destroy" and "The Four Horsermen, are on there, and they are from this tour. This is the same stage setup and everything, Jeez, they even have the same clothes on, lol!
ARE WE FUCKING NUTS TONIGHT?!! Good old drunken Hetfiled. To bad it will never be like this again. :(
