@joiles01 I have watched and tried a thousand different anime, and I found no pleasure in watching any of them. The art style is what turns me away, not the storyline or the voices. anime art style just is not for me. For others, fine. More power to them. So, aye. I made a sweeping generalization because the entirety of anime is simply not appealing to me. And if my tastes in animation are questionable at best to you, then so be it. I do not need anyone's opinion. I like what I like.

@AlexhandrDenthanor You are making two very sweeping generalizations about two broad categories of animation there. Both encompass every genre imaginable, including pornography. Good animation is good animation, no matter the country of origin. Same goes for bad animation. I'm no "anime only" fan by any means, but every time somebody criticizes the entire genre, I immediately think of Hayao Miyazaki, and realize their tastes in quality animation are questionable at best.
