I cryed when i herd this song for the first time. My walls have seen my cry, fall down, give up, and almost give up life. Way more times than seeing me happy. And i dont trust people or feel loved. And one night i prayed my heart out to God and felt better and now know someone does love and care about me. i cry to this song every time i hear it because when i was four years old i was abused by my real mom and she even neglected me and i thought the pain was here to stay but i went to God and asked him to help me and since that day i've been happier and i know that i can do anything with God i never knew what it was like to be a survivor of abuse till i heard this song

This is exactly how I feel about my mother. After almost 10 years of alternating btw fighting and repressing all the pain, God finally helped me to forgive her and we were actually able to reconcile and started building up a real relationship :)
