As a special purpose vehicle tech certified on more vehicles than you can count i know thats B.S. my 6-speed G35 does about 170 and thats 5 time the car..

it's easy to make the speedo say anything you want with a scan tool like a gm tech 2. I can make my truck show a full tank of gas when it's on e, and I can make it rev to 10k when the tach goes to 5. =]
