@dropbguitar Well, I am a pedal freak. I would recommend Wampler. I own both the Super Plextortion and the Super Ecstacy. Both REALLY cool distortion boxes. Also, a great one: the AC Booster by Xotic. Frickin GREAT pedal that pushes your amp into that edgy, overdrive heaven...

@bobbyswamp this pedal right here kicks ass! i actually ordered one a few days ago, i loved playing this in the store too. i also tried the fullbore metal but i hated it! i love metal but the fullbore metal just sounded so empty...idk just my opinion. do u know of any other pedals that wud be good for metal?

I like this pedal. At lower power/volume, it's a nice overdrive, then, as you turn up the level/gain/etc, it turns into a powerful overdrive, then into a full-blown distortion with a nice mid in it.
