  • i dont know why everyone has it in for this episode, really i dont. the only thing i think they should have done differently is for them to leave the humps off the daleks

  • @DoctorWhoLegacy I don't think people understand how Doctor Who works. Plot lines sometimes takes several seasons to come full circle. That's the beauty of it - everything weaving together until cause becomes effect. I wouldn't be surprised if in season 7 this episode comes back into play.

  • Only bad thing about this OST: it's short! :/

    just a 10/10...

  • Behold the recreation of the Daleks!

  • @flubberface08: My bad, my bad, and my bad. I still got most of it right, though. :D

  • @legomaster00156 It's spelt Dalek Caan, one other Dalek survived and killed itself in Van Statten's museum, and their were three Daleks that were destroyed by the new Paradigm.

  • There was one other Dalek who survivied: one who crashed to Earth in the 1960s. Almost completely inactive, it had been sold and auctioned several times until it came in the hands of Utah millionaire Henry van Statten. The Ninth Doctor got it running again, but it exterminated itself soon after. (Dalek, 2005)

  • @NeoDMC: (<- Continuing) Davros uses his own flesh to rebith the Daleks, but they are destroyed by the Doctors (all three of them). Only two survive, but they are rendered impure when they bring in 5 new Daleks, who exterminate them. And that is the New Who Dalek history.

  • @NeoDMC: The species was killed off when Skaro burned, except for a few hundred battleships which escaped the destruction, and the individual Cult of Skaro, which had been in a Voidship. The former were killed off by the Bad Wolf. The latter were nearly destroyed by the Doctor at the Battle of Canary Wharf, but they make use of the Emergency Temporal Shift to escape. The Cult is then reduced to Dalek Khan in Manhattan, who escapes and frees Davros from the Time War. (Continued ->)

  • @MrGanon00 I think that what you said is exactly right!

In fact Moffat mentioned about halfway through season 6 that he felt that the Daleks were being "overused" and that he was going to give them a short break but after that we would be able to see the connection of why they decided to have them 'reborn' again.

  • @MrClassicDoctorWho but theyre a sign of their masculinity.
