Ice Fishing At Beaver Mines Lake Near Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, Canada. Little to no wind, temperature was in the +s, great time, tons of decent rainbow trout. We caught about 20 this day and kept 9.

Try watching in high quality...video is so much better using it!

  • whats the limit there looks like your a little over and i dont think you can use bait at beaver minds

  • @FisherManStan88 If you go to the Alberta Fishing Regulations website and look under Alberta's Fish Stocking Program, you'll see that Beaver Mines is there under ES1, which also says that you can keep 5 trout/person and use bait, except bait fish. :)

  • is this the lake u can see from the highway as u go over the crowsnest pass?

  • @lh141 Nope. This is passed that lake; you go through the Beaver Mines townsite and then head out to the Beaver Mines Provincial Park area.

  • @MrPigsticker your fucked in the head

  • 98 % of all fish in alberta are toxic

  • P.s. Squafish are halarious. if you catch one, make it squeel. hahaha

  • Also, there a bridge right in the middle.. man I forgot all the names of the places around there lol I dont know how so sorry for that, but at this bridge there is a parking lot with a small community, steps going down to a beach, but if you go to the opposite side there is a small path that i never noticed for like 3 months lol but down there ive caught some nice rainbows too. Also, Its basically a nude beach. Kinda funny.

  • man I know plenty of good spots. The trout fishing there is awesome. The Columbia river is unbelievable. I've had luck catchin trout at a few spots inbetween Castlegar and trail, just side stops along the highway. Also, inbetween nelson and castlegar if you take the road south towards the ferry across from the gas station, the island has good fishing. off the boat first left follow it all the way down til you see the beach, past that and hit up the rapids. Incredible fly fishing.. mssg me 4 more

  • @guitarplayingcat hey i was wondering since u lived in nelson if u know of any good spots to ice fishe near nelson or castlegar?
