  • ♥Endless Hearts for posting this special♥

    Greetings from Germany,

    Mario

  • Greetings to you, Mario!

I LOVE what you say ... Endless Hearts ... one of the most profound phrases I've ever heard. Expresses so much in a few words!

It's how I feel about doing this for Judy ... for those who Love Her.

    Thank you from My Heart!

  • It has been well-documented that Judy fell for the insincere "charmers," and Deans may sound charming, but the reality is that he was not EVER able or ready to earn a living and "protect" her, apart from shoving her onstage or capitalizing on her name. The good thing appears to be that Judy (eternal optimist) felt some companionship in her last days; forget the true quality of it. She felt loved, and she would not have lived much longer, anyhow. Her body was finished, by this stage.

  • Because Judy fell for insincere 'charmers' will I conclude that Mickey was the same? NO

I'm not so sure that Mickey capitalized then or now. I know of 1 book he wrote. Otherwise, he has been silent. Most people have never heard the sound of his voice. ... Even with that being said, I will not nay-say the strong feelngs some people have, including family members. Perhaps there are reasons.

  • Hey there michellebell, what a nice interview I enjoyed the part of the of the boy not knowing who she was!!! I also liked the last 2 pictures...she looked so sad in the 2nd to last but ended with a smiling face :)

  • This comment is from my mischievous sister. SMILE. Over at her house, left my channel up, signed in, & she wrote a comment to me from me. Too funny! ... Like what she says ... so I'll keep it posted.

  • I miss Judy so much-

  • Hehe, I dont think Mickey had to be too jealous of her male fans. It's cute that the radio guy asked her that though.

  • Micky took all he could from her and after her death.LOUIE b.Mayer did that to her also the only reason she was fired from M.G.M. is because Louie did'ent have the control of the company anymore. He pushed until he could not.Judy R.I.P. for all the crap you ate from others you were one tough Cookie.People still Love you for all that you were! Barb...

  • Aaaaa I want to hear more lol... That always happens when I listen to an interview of her or something I just don't want it to end. I just hope she was somehow happy before she died, I hope she didn't suffer and had a peaceful death and I know God I taking good care of her.

  • A fantastic interview by a very gracious man to a very special woman.

  • Please lets remember,Judy was forced to take those,it started with her Mother from there MGM gave her all the pills she wanted, anythibg too keeo her working. From the age of 10 or 12 the people around her she beleved in,what a shame, the talent she was given was obviously a gift from God all those people did was take adgantage of the entire situatio :(

  • @Thunderbird7090 I'm with you on a lot, especially aptly describing Sid Luft as Judy's nurse, because there's no other way around it-- she needed full-time nursing and monitoring, lest she OD, set the house on fire, or both. I agree that this great love affair between her and Deans was strictly a product of brain damage. But I wouldn't blame MGM for her teeth. Judy was terrified of dentistry, and perhaps elected to use slip-on caps for the rest of her life. Marilyn Monroe also used them.

  • I cringe when she does that For Once in My Life "I've got Mickey" bit For over 10 yrs she HAD Sid Luft the only real husband she ever had who moved heaven & earth to keep her going & took on the insurmountable task of being a nurse to someone who was critically addicted to uppers & downers in a time when there was no such thing or even thought about total rehab. At best tried to control it & he did. If not for him she'd have played ever smaller clubs from '50 until finished or dead Thanks L1

  • @laurelfan1 LOL I wasn't chastising you, I'm just a minutiae junkie. Too many decades of reading. However this was a woman talking with a brain fried from years of massive Ritalin & barbituate use & Ritalin abused is very much like cocaine. It makes one very prone to self absorbed behavior, paranoia & delusional thinking. And they thought that was a wonder drug compared to the amphetamines of the 30s & 40s. Oh just a safe non-addictive anti-depressant (back when they started her on it they said)

  • @Thunderbird7090 o I'm sorry. I love her. She had such a tragic life. She never allowed to have a childhood.
