Raptor Frenzy - Nordic Game Jam 2011 Entry

A game made by app developers Robocat (+1) in 48 hours at the Nordic Game Jam 2011.

Raptor Frenzy is a retro themed dinosaur fighting game with callbacks to classics like mortal combat and the old Jurassic park games.

To play you need an iPad as a monitor and two iPhones for controllers. Via bluetooth a custom retro controller running on your iPhone you fight as one of the two last raptors on earth! Battle it out or face extinction.

The game has a very 8bit feel to it, from the nostalgic pixelart to the pumping chiptunes. Through a series of moves and attacks you defeat your opponent in gory pixels to become the sole surviving dinosaur.

This game was part of the Nordic Game Jam competition, where tons of fun people get together to create games under time and theme constraints. This years theme was 'Extinction'.
