Talkie Walkie is the fourth full-length album by Air, released on January 27, 2004 (see 2004 in music). The album was possibly named after the song "Le Talkie Walkie" by Serge Gainsbourg, a known influence of the duo. The track "Alone in Kyoto" was featured on the soundtrack to the 2003 film Lost in Translation. This album has been released with the Copy Control protection system in some regions. "Talkie-walkie" is French for walkie-talkie.

The music review online magazine Pitchfork placed Talkie Walkie at number 191 on their list of top 200 albums of the 2000s.

  • @tbmike23 The bass tone is straight out of White Album-era McCartney. So cool!

  • Me transporta a diversas sensaciones...

  • @OlmoLane lol left guy looks like he is actually looking at something while the other looks as if he is gazing through everything while in deep thought

  • I like this song alot thanks to M.Z

  • Such a good song! I keep coming back to this one. Such a goofy album picture though, haha. Look away from the camera like you're thinking about something!

  • @tbmike23 yeah, never thought about it. you're right. :)

  • Go on a slow drive around 2:00 AM out of San Francisco on the Bay Bridge and come all the way around and back in on the Golden Gate with this album playing the whole time.

It will cause the single greatest high/most relaxing/deep thought moments of your life. Seriously.
