In my head I always though Tsunami waves were like really, really big. But in videos they do not look big however when they hit land they get pushed up... do you get what I mean?

This is Sandy Beach in Oahu, Hawaii. We used to bodysurf here every day after school and EVERY day lifeguards had to rescue stupid tourists who didn't understand NOT to stand near the water's edge until about 2 seconds before giant waves smashed them
