I was there that night...filmed at Cottiers in Glasgow's west end. A-House and Eddi Reader were great too. Boots in great form!

Love this song ~ vast panorama , from "honesty and decency" to "holocaust" and "cities being levelled". Tried to buy this single at the time, but it wasn't stocked the shops I went too! Didin't chart either. Apparently little airplay (due to the HIV reference?), tho when I heard it on the radio I wanted to buy it.

Hope you were converted when you met him. Sometimes it's not until you see Ian playing live that you realise what it's all about.
I went to one of those "living room" gigs at a friend's house in Bedford last year - best evening of my life. And he's coming to play at my house this June!
