recently there have been pic's from soho telescope showing that our star does what is called a coronal dump which is the end result of our star propelling it thru space, so our solar system along w/ the sun are being propelled to somewhere in space.

Easy answer to why NASA would have to lie. If your business owner and you are going out of business in a month you do not tell your employees. They may quit. NASA just like government only tells you what they think you can handle and need to know.
