@MrDhurandhar May I be saved by Mother Sarasvati who is as white as jasmine, moon, snow, and pearls; who is clothed in white; whose hands look more beautiful because of holding the veena; who is seated in a white lotus; who is worshipped by Gods such as Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva; and who is the supreme Goddess who destroys all ignorance and inaction. May Ambika bless us all. DKM Kartha
An english translation of this beautiful sloka woulld be highly appriceated by many devotees of Ma Saraswati

@MrDhurandhar & @ritaturner : this is the translation I grew up with....
"May Goddess Saraswati protect me- She who is immaculately white like the jasmine blossom, the moon, and the wreath of the snow, who wears a white sari, and holds an exquisite Vina in Her hand, who is seated on a white lotus, who is ever adored by all the Gods, including Brahma, Chyut (Vishnu), and Shankar (Shiva) and who quickly and skillfully removes all types of ignorance from her devotees."

@theonlyjeena Thank you for the translation. As always the deep meaning of each and every word in the sloka is hard to comprehend. Peace !
