  • lol my hedgehog always does that when i wake her up and if you touch her in her cage or her bed but once you bring her out she is fine

so cuute hedgie!!! :) :) :)how old was she/she?

  • @GreenDayAndEricaRok He was about 2 when I took this video, almost 4 years old now - despite my apparent abusive treatment of him *snickers*

  • how much did you by him for?

  • @ThePerkonm I bought him from a breeder at a the flea market in Canton, Texas a few years ago for $40.

  • You should never try to make your hedgehog uncomfortable. If he is stressed or angry he will die faster

  • I'm not one to claim animal abuse for videos on here, but your pestering an already antisocial skittish animal by nature... Join hedgehogcentral forums and research how you should treat him. Please stop purposely scaring the poor little guy, they need to feel safe in their homes. Also, wood toys or homes in the cage will harbor mites.

  • I'm grouchy when rudely awakened too.

  • I have one named Marcel-Chuckles and he lets me rub his cheeks and ears without hissing

  • Is this an amerian hedgehog?

  • it looks scared :(

  • Hedgehogs sleep during the day and normaly only come out in the night. Leave them alone! They belong in the nature and they are not pets!!

  • Lol he is super sajin 1 moment then he is normal another

  • @willow2241 I have one like that always huffing and puffing and then Monster is the most friendliest thing ever, runs around the house, potty trained and all.

  • Im outraged that youdd go out of your way to scare and anny him by banging/rattling his cage. You shouldnt be a pet owner ... augh
