can i get this for windows?
please send me the link of the same version of your gnu nano 1.3.12

when using nano, try typing "nano hello.c -i". That auto-indents code for you (if you indent one line yourself). Also, you should try gVim.
-
you should try "ee" it stand for "easy editor" and it's great, light and rich on feathers. If your a emacs fan there is a option for emacs like navigation. For the vid. :D it was very good might hook a lot of people on C/C++ :D

Works great for me! I used Kwrite in Mandriva 2008.

I use nano. Vi seems complicated..
I use it sometimes when something on commandline seems faster to do. For that don't wanna learn the Vi because nano needs no learning at all.

Very poor

Ah Grasshopper, at least you're using Linux but please please please, take the time to learn vi (vim). It's good. Real' good. Once you learn vi, you'll wonder how you ever survived without it my young Grasshopper. Vi is like no other editor. It's more like a love affair than just using a text editor.
Oh, one more handy hint. If you're really using Linux because you like it and not because you're escaping from Windows, spend a year using nothing but the non-graphical CLI. You'll learn soooo much more so much faster. Try programs like lynx, mutt and the aforementioned Vi. You might need graphics when it comes to looking at pretty women though.
