When I see JGW, I almost thought that he was Charlie Wilson in his early days...lol!! This guy's music is ageless and full of soul.

When I saw JGW live, must have been around the time this show was recorded, I noticed that the keyboard player was blind and doubled Johnny on vocals. The similarity of the voices was astonishing... so, maybe that's why some of you think it is not Johnny... man, how sad he's passed away.

I think I met Johnny in Monterrey CA in the mid 90's. He was playing at a small bar. Don't remember much about the music but I do remember that he was playing an accordion. Can anyone confirm this for me??????

I thought Ohne Filter was a music club.. have seen a lot of vids that were done there...and having said that. we are so lucky to've seen these vids. I have some of his work on vinyl, but it ain't the same!!
