Unsafe and unsanitary conditions in Pleasant Grove AL 1.5 m

The April 27 tornado came through Pleasant Grove and turned everyone's lives upside down. We are now left with a house that was not totaled, despite considerable damage, and has to be rebuilt. As we find contractors and negotiate with insurance adjusters we still have one major problem. Due to downed trees, busted pipes, bare lots and total destruction due to the tornado the lot and adjacent lots surrounding the house, that is meant to again be home, is flooded swamp with septic and stormwater runoff and debris of all type, including corroded leaking car batteries. Basically, the house that we have to repair is now a safety and sanitation nightmare. I know what you think: "get in touch with the authorities and get it fixed, right?". Wrong! I contacted my cities public works department, the first time, over 1 month ago. The public works supervisor suggested I get in touch with county officials or perhaps FEMA. And, I did. FEMA told me to get in touch with Jefferson County AL EMA, EMA told me to get in touch with Jeff. Co. Dept. of Public Health, and Public Health told me it was a City of Pleasant Grove issue. I again called the P.G. Public Works supervisor and told him about the struggle I was having with getting a safety and sanitation issue that is not allowing us to begin rebuilding our tornado ravaged house rectified. After many many many more phone calls to numerous local, county, state, and federal officials we are still left with an unsafe and unsanitary environment that we are supposed to rebuild a house on top of. I am posting this video hoping that the correct person will see this and help us to find a solution to this nightmare.
