So no one forgets whats happening behind the scene in Sudan, and why does this nation need a more compatible ruling system to stop the genocide and abuse, even those in the heart of the capital are subjected to same treatment at some point. this should STOP at any cost. and those behind it MUST be held responsible.

i'm an american veteran of some of the worst fighting in iraq and i am trying to start a movement to raise awareness of these attrocities and to organize a group of combat veterans to go train and protect the victims in sudan so that they can turn the table. don't lump us all into the same category. some of us know true suffering and want to stop it

In 2001 I was able to hire some of the Sudanese 'lost boys' who came to the U.S. through the U.N. I grew to love them deeply.
Upon learning that one of the boys was trying to earn enough money to buy his mom back from slavery, I was inspired to write the song
'Dark Rain'. I want to thank you for all that you have done to expose what is happening in Sudan. If you have a benefit in Southern California, it would be an honor to have my band play.
