I got and idea for preventing mold in the jar, I think you should add some paper towel around the in side of the jar. Thanks for having a lot of detail about how to grow. ;)

@EngineeringIsMagic Thank you for sharing :D

@Nerd10101 That's a great question and probably something I should have gone over. Electricity was perhaps $100 a month for my entire place, which included many PCs and other things, not just the light, so I think that was pretty cheap. Nutrients, probably $100-$150 overall. Water is basically nothing as the whole grow used for certain less than 1000 gallons. The equipment (light, tent, fan), probably $1000 - $1500

Really enjoyed the video. I used to use a flood and drain but I switched to the DWC bucket system; I found it to be easier to construct and maintain. With a 1000w I would definitely do 6 plants, and I would of definitely thrown your ladies into flower much earlier next time. I really like your ventilation/temp control method, it seems like it worked great. I'm always having temperature problems when running my 1000w.

how come you never stake or tie up your plants ??? wierd

another awesome video, I really like all of your principles especially the invest in equipment instead of nutes for now. I am also on my second grow and have done the same stuff, looking forward to more of your videos and helpful info! keep up the great work!
great vid, very informative, my only suggestion is to just keep the camera in the top corner of the tent throughout the whole timelaps, peace

@Bublonichronic2 Well next time I'm planning on doing multiple camera angles. :) One of the corner, and I think one will be moving around, watching bud development and trying to get macro shots. Hopefully should be pretty sweet. Maybe do like a picture in picture.

What does the compost tea & sweet provide for the plants? Sweets leads me to believe there's some fructose/sucrose in there? Can you make that using table sugar?
blendieofindie 4 months ago
@blendieofindie Yep. it's got sugar in it, but some other things. I have heard of people using molasses as a sweetener, but I'd do some more research. I'm no expert! But it's supposed to make the buds sweeter, more smell, more taste, more crystals, etc. The compost tea just provides a better round out of micronutrients I believe. Honestly, what the chemicals do and what's in them are all very confusing things.
