Swiper the Fennec Fox Plays with the Backyard Bag Feeder Enrichment Project!

In 2009, I loaned one of my camcorders out to someone who wanted to try my Backyard Bag Feeder Project enrichment idea out with her fennec fox Swiper and her opossum Stitch, who are both educational animals - this video shows Swiper the Fennec Fox ripping at, tearing into and having a good time playing with the feeder project!

Swiper is awesome. I thought he was an official 'mattress-tester' until he flipped it over and got to the food. Smart like a fox :)

@AweSomeCentral11 - Hehe, yep - exactly! Swiper is very cool - I wasn't sure how we was going to take to my enrichment project, but he had a lot of fun with it! He was interested in the food, although at some points, it looked like he was more interested in ripping at the bag than eating the food that was inside of it - :)

I would rather have the opposum though :O) They are calmer !

Swiper is definitely an awesome fox - :) Stitch the opossum did seem calmer, but I have seen wild opossums really rip my feeder to shreds too - I'm guessing they're a little more intense because they're foraging naturally - it's kind of funny to watch opossums check the feeder out, they'll walk up to it, kind of sniff a little bit here and there, inconspicuously, and then they'll just open their mouth all of a sudden and try to rip the feeder apart! :)

@Tstormer - Sure, no problem! He's not mine (although I wish he was! :)) - I sent a bunch of feeder projects and one of my cameras out to a friend of mine, and she got the footage for me.
