ha ha. thats talent! he had lots...immeausrable. He said the best thing that happened to him was Elvis..or meeting elvis. I'd say elvis was lucky to find him. And mac had huge talent.

someone interveiwed him ans asked him about that. How he just came up with tunes. He said he just had it in him since he was a child. he'd whistle tunes and his daddy would ask him where he head that tune from. And he said he just made it up. And his father would go , 'Nah.........??"

Mac Davis TV show audience members got to fill out cards before the show with ideas for crazy song titles. Mac would handle 2 or 3 selected song titles live and, he would come up with a song on the spot. Very talented guy. I attended a show mid 70's and got my song title selected."Gopher's Got Your Granny".i remember it after 35 years. However, I was so excited i went out of turn in raising my hand when Mac "asked" the audience for song titles. b4 show start we were given 1st, 2nd or 3rd spots.
