@RealCatholictv: help me understand why priests encourage Catholics to celebrate passover. Understanding is one thing, but celebrating? Seems like false ecumenism. Shouldn't Catholics pray instead for the Jews' conversion so they can accept Jesus as Savior? Moses & the lamb only prefigured Christ. Jesus was the Ultimate Sacrificial Lamb that paid for our salvation. Catholics should learn & practice more about our own faith. Since when does the old covenant trump the new?

Indeed one of the greatest mistakes of early modern philosophers was to deny "final causes" (along with formal ones)... which has only led to absurd modern and post-modern philosophies down to the absurd thinking of eliminative materialists...

@lauermar I agree we shoul certainly understand and know the Jewish rituals (from Jesus time at least) to better understand our rituals which are based on them... not go back to the Old Testament...

I think Michael is 'controversial' for the local church authorities because his 'bold in proclaiming the faith' similar to St Paul as one can read in his letter to the Galatian's. However, certain bishops and diocese's want to 'accommodate' the truth to this 'world.' That means being tolerant of the women's liberation and gay movement. And turning a blind eye to pro-abortion communicants. If someone, like Michael calls a spade a spade people get offended and label them a 'trouble maker.'

Scary (but unsurprising) that a Bishop would dare call your talks controversial, insensitive, and mere opinion. You are the REAL Catholic. Too bad the Bishops won't tune in and get real.
