I was on StrangeTown playing on the 'Smith' Family when i used a cheat to get to choose what age they will become.

I have noticed that if you use boolprop to age a Sim down to child or teen, they start with a grade of F--which means hello Social Worker, bye-bye kiddie. If you have SimPE, you save the game quickly, then use SimPE to adjust the grade.
I used the SimBlender hack to age an adult down to teen...at first it looked like he had an F, then I waited a moment and it adjusted to a C+. I assume it would be the same with aging down to child.
