I don't think that Iran is superior to South Asia. But I can't just shut up when someone bashes my homeland. Especially someone from a place with just as many gigantic problems, possibly more.

So don't even start on Iran's problem with women's rights. At least we don't kill female fetuses (a rampant problem in the subcontinent).  Our marriages are also rarely arranged anymore. The same cannot be said for South Asia.

-Iran doesn't have a completely ungovernable region that a military dictatorship is at a loss to deal with.

-Iran doesn't have a terrorism problem nearly the size of Pakistan's.

-Iran was never colonized to the same extent South Asia was. All of India's success today can be attributed to the British presence there.
