Слава героям Красной армии и Военного флота, партизанам, народным ополченцам и простым гражданам, которые не сдались и сражались за Родину до последней капли крови!
Никто не забыт! Ничто не прощено!
Glory to the heroes of the Red Army and Navy, to the partisans, people's militia, and the simple citizens who did not surrender and fought for the Motherland to the last drop of their blood!
No one is forgotten! Nothing is forgiven!

I don't like communism, but I have a lot of respect for the USSR because they saved the world from Hitler.

Your partly correct..the IRA had partly been suppressed by the A'specials especially in Ulster but in the new Irish Republic the IRA was alive and well and were trying to undermine the new pro-treaty Irish government. The IRA was basically trying to fight its way back into Irish culture and reorganise itself....to do this it needed weapons and aimed to have support from the European super-power which at the time was Nazi Germany. They knew the Nazis may support them against the Brits
-
@51wins At the time of WWII, the IRA as you think of it scarcely existed. It had been suppressed in the 20's. Churchill et al. at times made political hay by accusing the Irish (all Irish) of being Nazis, but at other times were very grateful indeed for the support that a "neutral" (but pro-English) country could provide. The notion of an IRA collaborating with the Nazis is a fantasy that nobody believed in 1942.

The majority of Irish people hate the IRA, the Irish Government even call them a terrorist organisation. The big majority of Irish voters refuse to vote for these killers.
The IRA murdered thousands of people including thousands from their own supporters. They do have links to ETA etc but that doesn't make them good or right. Their trying to take land where most people living there feel British...so their undemocratic.
and yes they did support the Nazis check videos on youtube
-
@51wins is that true or is it propaganda cause the IRA i hvae heard of seemd to me more like the ΕΤΑ in spain or any other leftish-patriotic-peoples organization

Irish Nazi supporters....the IRA and Irish Republicanism was very supportive of the Nazis. The IRA tried several times to establish Nazi links so that any invasion of Britain would be supported by the IRA as allies of the Nazis. In turn for their loyalty to Hitler, the Nazis would unite Ireland and set up an IRA/Irish Republican government who would allow Nazi soldiers to be based there and take their orders from Berlin.
Smart move...but it just shows what the IRA are really like.
мой дед прошёл четыре года на передовой...с 41 по 44...низкий ему поклон ему и всем ветеранам...смерть фашизму...

@liam13coins "Rare" rape is still rape. USA had less rapes because USA had less soldiers in WW2, and USA didn't have German pigs rape their women and kill their children.
Do you know that population of some villages and small towns in western USSR was completely genocided by Germans and only survivors were young men that were mobilized by Red Army? Could you imagine how they feel when found their burned home and dead parents? Only thing they had left was revenge to Germans.
