Not funny. It is good that neither the horse nor rider was hurt. It did start with a slipping saddle.

there were two different horses that had problems, this one was caught right away, the other was loose for a longer time, and was paler in color

Nothing funny about this you moron!! From what I can see the saddle started to slip, the rider handed the flag to another rider which put him off balance causing the saddle to slip more and he pulled on the reins causing the horse to start to rear and slip on the pavement and fall. It was the good sense of the horse not to bolt and try to run, with all of the confusion, into the crowd and hurt a bystander. KUTOES TO THE HORSE!

no it isn't funny at all. a horse tossing his head like that is showing that something is hurting him and it sure isn't funny to see an older person fall onto the pavement

The cinch was loose. The rider lost his balance and the saddle's sliding off. The rider sticks flags in the horses face and then tries to use the reins to hang on. That horse did nothing wrong, and none of what happened was his fault. I fail to see where a horse having his mouth ripped out and blamed for a human error is "hilarious".

there was no blood spilled people...no one got hurt and i never said that horse should be put down...i know it was the riders fault but i have shown this to plenty of other people who were laughing really hard at it
