I stand with you shoulder-to-shoulder in your thankless effort to awaken the Sheep who so often don't care and refuse to be responsible for helping fight for and protect liberty from the criminal ruling elite.
I was fired from CBS TV for trying to expose and awaken co-workers to the lies, fraud and complicity of the network with the Pentagon to help foment these endless wars.

I'm impressed at your powerful argument, very strongly stated. I expect a few people would be a tad shocked at the idea of the regular armed forces being mercenaries and not just the Blackwater types, but you make the case.

@ToddBoyle And even WW2 was filled with the needless killing of innocents, and was itself the result of major US industrialists (Ford, GM, GE, Alcoa, et al) and bankers rearming Germany in violation of the Versailles treaties, in full knowledge that they were setting the stage for a blood bath.

Still true today. Why are we still killing people, who never attacked America? To wage war, without cause, is a war crime. It violates constitution and the treaties we have signed. I scorn and despise all Americans who advocate for the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan which now, in 2010 seem positioned to continue forever. A pox on Obama and the Democratic party.

You may recall Colin Powell, with George Tenet standing behind him, trying to get UN approval without success. The invasion was a "coalition of the willing" in violation of UN treaty. UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan told the BBC the US-led invasion of Iraq was an illegal act that contravened the UN Charter.

The idea of nations not invading each other is not a new or esoteric idea. It is not a legalistic gimmick. But since you asked:
Chapter 1, Article 2 of the UN Charter: 4. All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations."

Hey all my anonymous admirers: All the wars since at least WW2 have NOT been self defense, they've been aggressions, the US has killed millions of innocent people in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, etc. who never attacked America. The US congress, US presidency, US intelligence agencies, and US military are institutions that are out of control. They are in an illegal status, violating laws and treaties. The pentagon should hire a clerk to review the orders from the pres. to see if they're illegal.
