Mar del Plata, IS AMAZING... I was born there.. it's an ever-changing city. You can get Sun, wind, heat, cold, rain, and thunder... all during the course of a single day.
Would have been cooler if you had known were you were though... LOL @ the MARS??? LOL

I am doing a report on Argentina in my Spanish class. We are making Powerpoints on our "trip" there. We didnt need to take a trip. Just to make it look like we did. And i put in mine that i went down January 11, 2010 and saw a waterspout. In Mar Del Plata. That is my favorite slide. It has some pix of the waterspout on it.

I'm from MAR del Plata (not "Mars" del Plata!). We're used to those storms every summer, the weather here is very unstable in summer, and those storms forms very quickly. We had a massive tornado in the city in 1993, but ever since there wasn't another one.
Guys, one of my dreams is chasing tornados, seeing you guys in my country (and in my city!) is very motivating for me :) come back whenever you want! we had many storms like this one every summer!
