Isaias led Eritrean independence despite Ethiopia's support by US and USSR (billions of arms/year by USSR)

Since indpendence Eritrea has LARGEST decrease in infant mortality, malaria death, maternal mortality, increase in schools, expansion of water supply in ALL of Africa despite little aid. Isaias and his family and government officials live a very modest life. His kids go to local colleges and do service. His wife takes the bus.

So, FACTS not words prove Isaias is undoubtedly a HERO.
