Nice video. Would be better without the annoying music though. Only thing I would do differently is tin the tip prior to installing it. Just makes it a little easier to get a good solid connection.

Proper PPE and helper tools would have made this much easier. The lack of PPE is what is most troublesome though.

Actually, you don't really need to solder the shield with this type of connector. The reducer, or jacket of larger coax (when reducer isn't used), will hold the shield against metal well enough to provide an adequite electrical connection. Test it with a multimeter. The center conductor in the pin is the only area which truly requires soldering, which also prevents the coax from pulling out of the connector. Never had a connector fail do to this (unsoldered shield), even after years of use.
