Flight from Megeve to Gap in an Acclaim. Beautiful scenery over the French Alps. Gap is a gliding Mecca in the Alps, you can see some lined up on final approach, it's also a big skydiving center. Fun to fly in to if using runway 21 because you descend along the slope of a small hill down to the runway.

What is the Vapp on the accalim?

Normally 75-80 over the numbers, you can do 70kts if short field landing, but all depends on wind conditions. Mooney isn't the best short field aircraft really, but great performance and I think one of the most efficient single engine pistons out there.

@hewcharles Only a few old Mooney's have Porsche engines. The Acclaim has a Teledyne-Continental engine.
