The House debates an amendment offered by Rep. Rob Andrews (NJ-01), which would prevent funds authorized for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan from being obligated or expended to plan a contingency operation in Iran. Rep. Rob Andrews and Rep. Ike Skelton, Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, speak in favor of the amendment.
andrews is right. he is sane at the same time as taking a tough stance on iran. i don't trust bush, but i don't trust iran either, and andrews is smart enough to curb bush while taking a tough stance on iran. i'm proud to have andrews as my representative
