Good advice as usual. Thx for sharing!

good advice man, I think a lot of people wouldn't think twice about being an attacker and pride themselves on showing themselves off, believing their distilling fear into an attackers mind instead of helping them
-
I think the advice here is probably better in daily life than SHTF. In SHTF, someone would always be home and armed while others scavenge for supplies. In daily life I don't advertise I have guns, they always leave in an inconspicous bag when I go to the range. I advertise my security system and dogs, my fence gates are locked and the lights are on outside all night. My doors/windows are all visible from the street or neighbors windows in all cases. There are also easier targets around me.

I just wanted to pick at you today.....What does a cop do when he drives his patrol car home? Would you support him? Would you fly Old Glory Along side a friend who supports the NRA by putting an NRA sticker on your house too? Bottom line is fight the good fight brother; defend it with a fire to burn the devil himself. - Amen P.S. Soldiers and rich people drive home too and being poor in this world is a reality.

Good advice thanks

Who ate all the pies?

I could not have said it better.

Wow. I never thought of that. The NRA stickers are coming of my truck ASAP.
thanks!

my home defence is too look poor on the outside but the truth is im white and have weapons so going for that poor look so much better

when SHTF take all unnecessary clothes, furniture, etc, and just scatter it in the yard to make it look like you were already robbed ;)
@Survive2Day Seems like a good idea...but what do you feel about advertising an alarm system for your house? The blinking light in my car seems to keep would-be thievs out of my car, what are your feelings about that towards a home? Would you advertise? Or would you continue to stay the "gray man"? Please advise! Thank you and Awesome videos! Love your work!

@LetsgetphysicalAg I think that is a different story. Making your house a harder target, like with an alarm system, is a great idea. You're not telling anyone what you have inside, just that it will be more challenging for them to get it. All things being equal, they will choose another house.

Well, if you are cooking in a post-collapse situation, you will need to conserve fuel. Bring your food to a boil and then immediately cover it and put the pot it a laundry basket with cotton / wool sleeping bags and blankets under / around and on top. This "hot box" will keep the heat in and, if the recipe called for 10 minutes of simmering, you can just leave it in there for 20 minutes and save 10 minutes of fuel. This cuts down on the smells emitted also!
