that american woman is so antagonistic! she's just jealous because Maggy is so pretty while she had to use her money to get the man she wanted. poor Maggy being used by that unscrupulous julian and emotionally hurt by that woman.

@dynamic27ph Yes I agree.Kate is jealous and mean even if she saw julien's potential.She wanted Julien and hurt Maggy deeply.She later got what she deserved.

Kate may have been horrible, but she's a key player in everyone's lives. She drove Julien's career, made it so that Maggie moved on, which led to Teddy and then Fauve, who wound up with a lot of Julien's estate. Kate saw potential and made things happen, but at a huge cost. She may be vicious, but she had a huge effect on everyone, and she realized that she could not always get her way.

@dynamic27ph Actually, I like Kate better; older, more sophisticated and confidant. Though I feel sorrier for her, being stuck with that SOB who would betray and abandon her too in turn.
