  • Thanks for the great info. This is the first time I have watched any of your videos. I found it great. Thanks for sharing. Here's a great list of Wayne Dyer's videos wholisticuniverse-dot-com/html/wayne_dyer_videos.htm

  • Ego (the ideas you have about yourself) play a large part in most peoples life. Simply put you are NOT what you "think". You do not need to use your mind to make sure that your heart continues to beat do you? Dispite this, there is a tendency for the mind to get trapped in the belief that IT is in control. The reason the mind does this is because " truth" or "reality" can often be very painful, so the ego (false self) creates a pretend (altered) state to avoid pain.

  • Letting go, does indeed re-align yourlife, Wayne is absloutely right. If you live by the ideas in your mind, you live from a confused state as the mind cannot satisfy itself. The "truth" is an un- alterered state of "just being". But there is an obsticle called the ego which fights hard to prevent you from seeing it. The tendency from the egos and minds point of view is to think that "just being" would be boring and therfore it creates distractions so that it can continue on its deluded path.

  • and isn't funny that this self-made man, who was so ambitious in his come-up, selling tons of books out of the trunk of his car, became so famous from his hard work and drive, that he could develop an audience which listens to him, non-critically, telling us that the golden key is to get past "ego" and just let the cards fall where they may. Very clever.

  • Why avoid negative people? As Wayne himself teaches, everybody that is in your life, is in your life for a reason. If they are negative then you should be thinking you have something to teach them, as they surely have something to teach you...

  • God bless Wayne Dyer. He's helped me through some really difficult times in my life. Listening to his audio tapes helped me direct my thoughts so that I see what I want showing up in my life. If you want a few key points to be welded in your mind about living your life the way you want, I highly suggest reading his books or listening to his audio tapes.
