I KNOW the C5 pulls hard through the entire RPM range... I also know the LT1 does NOT. But this LT5 SURPRISED the FOOL out of me. wow... Kinda makes me want one now.

lol "I´m not catching him". too bad if you´re fighting a vette in a vette huh ? no aerodynamic advantage unless it´s a C1-C3 vette you´re racing :P
the C4 is one hell of an aerodynamic beast. that´s why it was the base car for the Sledgehammer C4 which was the fastest land vehicle on earth back in 1988 till 2007 (SSC Ultimate Aero) since the Sledgehammer reached 411kmh under normal road conditions. long live the C4 !

@IrishChris1979 Actually have an LS9 now. Obviously a big Vette fan. LS1, LS3, and now LS9. They keep getting better which is amazing because they've been stout motors since the LT1.

@IrishChris1979 Yeah, I think the guys from Racing freaks posted it originally on their now defunct website. The C5 was a 2001 and it had intake, headers, and exhaust at this point. I added 4.10 gears later. Matt's ZR-1 ran strong, it was always fun to race him.

Oh your the one driving that C5...Awesome man! This is actually the first car racing video I ever saw on a computer! This was before youtube even came around. I always wondered, what year was this C5? I always wanted to know if it was the 97-00' (345 HP/350 TQ) or the 01'+ (350 HP/375 TQ) C5? Thanks and great video!!
