  • You know, there are different kinds of pidgin! Hawai'i pidgin is only one. Melanesian pidgins are a little different. This is Tok Pisin, from Papua New Guinea.

  • You can go to the Australian Radio website and hear streaming audio of a radio station in Tok Pisin. It broadcasts from Northern Australia to PNG.

    PNG was an Australian protectorate until after WWII.
