Don't believe people when they tell you there is no cure for rosacea because there is. Well at least for me there was. I bought a cream from the UK called proskin rosacea by a company called mama nature. It is natural and they say on their website that because it contains a high level of tea tree oil it kills the demodex mites that cause rosacea. Admittedly my rosacea worsened when I used it but after that it gradually got better to the point now where it has gone (some scars are left).

I believe my rosacea is not your typical acne form, So all that "for acne" crap doesn't work for me. My Roseau is hot to the touch. I believe mine is an internal thing, blood vessels that's connected to my nerves system or something; an emotional thing. When I run/exercise I notice I don't really sweat from my face just get wine red. It's embarrassing everyone would look at me weird, I only jog at night now. Going to the doctor soon about my Anxiety which causes this flushing too.

I have been using - Eucerin - Sensitive Skin Redness Relief soothing night cream, for visibly red skin. It is recommended by the National Rosacea Society. I really like it & it has helped me.

Avoid Vitamin B3 - Niacin in high doses. It sure makes you flush on the face and neck and some people go red as a lobster all over! B-Vitamins are good for health and happiness but keep to moderate doses. Any supplements that aid the digestive system will work wonders for rosacea. Check your stomach acid levels because low stomach acid (Hypochlorhydria) causes severe digestive problems and malnutrition and a host of other symptons.
The pill is called Oracea. I've been using it for a year and it completely cleared up my redness and pimples. you should def give it a try

if you havent been too the dermatologist there's this new pill that you take once a day and it clears up your rosacea. It takes some people 4 months too see complete clearance but this is def the way too go for easy simple clearance. And also the quickest way is too get a series of ipl treatments. They will clear up your rosacea and after 4-6 treatments you'll only need 1 or 2 a year for maintence. :)

@dannyubersexy I have had IPL laser treatments in the past and it actually might have made it worse. And it permanently burned my forehead so I have a slightly uneven hairline! lol
Unfortunately my college budget doesn't support dermatology visits and treatments, but I am curious to learn more about Finacea. I have heard a lot of hype about it and I wonder if it works... :)

Thanks so much for sharing! I agree that no product will make rosacea completely go away. I use products that simply don't aggravate my rosacea so that I don't flare. For me, I had the same experience as helloMarigold1. My skin reacted badly to natural and organic skincare, and I gave it a try for 8 months with no luck. I got my rosacea under control with finacea, and Cerave cleanser and PM moisturizer, which strenghten your skin barrier. All the best to everyone with this condition.
