There's a place North ofLos Angeles that has tons of windmills.. I think they're interesting to look at but obviously functional lol

Wide open spaces. Wonderful. By the way, I get corrected when I call the whirring things windmills. They are turbines (not so romantic though) since they do not mill anything. And if you have more than one it is a wind farm! How absurd is that.

Like you, I prefer the more romantic term "windmill". Turbine sounds so industrial, and to me this is the least industrial looking energy source I can imagine.
