  • The lead guitar player looks like he just saw his only child die of cancer

  • I WILL GO TO WACKEN ONE F THESE DAYS!!!!! i swear thats a true thrashfest

  • I was there

  • @MarkPJordan Haha hilarous story with the bee. :-) Still it's a pity about Allen, especially since he was really one of my favourite guitar players when I was a kid. Actually he got me into playing leads, the way he played was different than most did. He played more lightning fast blues scales and they always were really recognizable to me and not pointless shred. Drugs are bad.

  • @XingFisher666 Just listened back to it, pretty sure that's Trevor in the left channel and you're right he's sharp. If my ears don't deceive me, Allen and Frank are playing in same key, but Frank looking at him like he's wrong suggests that it's something that's happened before. It's happened to me in bands.

Although once a bee landed on my bass while on tour in Italy and I couldn't play. I kept shouting "BEE!" at other guitarist. He kept shouting "CEE!!" back at me.

  • @MarkPJordan I just saw your reaction after I posted about the same part. But unless they together decided to play the beginning part 2 semitones higher for Wacken, Allen is the one playing right. Compare to the original version and all other versions on Youtube, Allen is the one playing in key, although it doesn't look like it. :-) For the rest I agree it's a pity, I hope Allen can ditch the drugs.

  • The part at 0:40 looks funny as hell, Frank Watkins trying to show that Allen has to shift up 2 semitones. Allen looks like 'huh, I've always played this song like this'. And he's right too, because he's the one playing in key (like on the album).

  • Gotta love the Obies!

  • Definitely the soloist is playing sharp, Trevor is playing in D. Frank the bass player even stands looking at him at 0:40 to see if he knows he's playing in the wrong key and Allen just kind of looks back at him plaintively. His timing's also all over the place throughout the song. Pity.

  • @skimojun77 I would say Allen if only cause he looks wasted as fuck
