From a technical standpoint this is the most proficient goal I have ever seen the US score. It is a top quality goal against likewise competition. I wish they could play like that all the time.

Donovan is a really good player.

Landon Donovan is an excellent player. Too bad nobody on the team other than Dempsey comes close to the all around play he is capable of. That is why it was no surprise Brazil blew the U.S. out of the water in the 2nd half, only Dempsey and Donovan on the U.S. team were skilled to play possession and that isn't enough.
