Model Railways-Crosti Boilered 9F and Glimpses of a "Streak"

This Hornby 9F 2-10-0 has been succesfully converted into a crosti boilered version. Later in the clip we see a Hornby A4 pacific on a train of Gresley rolling stock. These are the coaches that Hornby produced in Margate between 1981 to 1991 when production was switched to China. Unlike the latest versions of the gresley coaches from China they DON'T fall to bits every time you pick them up, constantly derail and look at the nice close connection between individual coaches. Despite having plastic wheels they run beautifully.

Beautiful Layout. I love British Trains. Somehow my German Trains seem somewhat boring and ugly. Almost makes me want to get rid of my Marklin and start over with Hornby.

those pugh and co wagons. look after those. they are something of a rarity these days about 500 of them were made in 70/80s.

You can a very godd price for those ; )

Great video, I like the music, and the 9F. Them Boilers were very unsuccessful, and were badly disliked by their crews.
