My Dad AKA 'Horseshoe Pete' invented the first inovation of a Pitching Horseshoe in 100 years.
Dad obtained a Patent in 1983 and since his passing we, his Kids still manufacture and distribute the 'CAL-FLIP'.
When George Bush was elected into office Dad sent him a pair of CAL-FLIP Horseshoes to Christen the opening of the Horseshoe Pitching Pits that were installed on the White House Lawns for President George Bush
