@Dragonlet176 Yeah, I don't know what's going on with that but I hope after I make a new video here soon that it will help show how to make them without hard to find supplies. Cheers!

What kind of materials will I need to make the Tsumami Kanzashi flower?

@Shadowedsunbeam Oh, and sorry about that replying with the wrong name thing. I have something like 3 different accounts and sometimes I'm signed in on the wrong one and don't realise it! o...o sorry.

@Shadowedsunbeam Yeah, I do. I recommend Dharma Trading Company. You can search for the terms "Habotai", "Habutae", and "China Silk", though I find that you'll get more hits with "Habotai" or "China Silk", as that seems to be the more popular term. All three refer to the same kind of silk. Though, take note, there are thin polyester fabrics that are called artificial China Silk. That's up to you to decide. I paid less than 6$ per yard of 8mm habotai.

@missmeander The only thing I seem to be having a problem finding is silk thin/fine enough. My fabric store only sells thick, decorated silk. Do you know of any online places that sells any that would work for tsumami kanzashi?

@Shadowedsunbeam Right now I don't, but I still have the information for my contact at Zipangu Treasures and I'll e-mail him about it and see if I get a response. I also have an e-mail from a woman who said she's recorded a tutorial for making birabira flutters and I'll see what she says. In my opinion, most supplies you can find in your local craft store except for the flutters. Maybe her tutorial wll help. I'll keep people updated as I find stuff out.

I watched your supplies video, because finding supplies seems to be my biggest problem, and it seems as if zipangu-treasures is no longer in business? The website is gone after a bit of googling, and their ebay store has no listings. Do you know of any other websites for supplies?
