A Hydromissions instructional video on how to make a bailer bucket. Get water out of a well anytime, anywhere. If you are a missionary well driller, a humanitarian relief worker, or simply a conscientous homesteader who wants to be prepared, YOU NEED A BAILER BUCKET!!! Electricity fails, and hand pumps break, but a bailer bucket always draws water - guaranteed! Think about it - people have been using buckets in wells for THOUSANDS of years (hard to beat a proven track record like that). For more information, check out www.hydromissions.com

  • One more question. When using this in a deep well, the pump has to be pulled out correct? Also, do you think it's safe to use the pvc cement on the pipe and then use the water for drinking or dishes? What has your experiences shown? Thanks again.

  • @shithitthefanman The pump would not necessarily have to be pulled out. In the case of a submersible pump, the large (pump) part is down in the water pretty far, so your bailer bucket would only have to be able to pass by the riser pipe and electrical wire of the submersible to reach the water. As for the pvc glue - no health issues there (your household pipes are most likely pvc or cpvc, and those are all glued). Hope that helps. Steve

  • Glad you like it.
